Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a composition of well-balanced mechanical properties and good impact resistance at ordinary and low temperatures, by mixing an acid- modified polyphenylene ether with a polyamide, a specified composite rubber graft copolymer and an acid-modified ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer. CONSTITUTION:This thermoplastic resin composition comprises a modified polyphenylene ether (A), formed by modifying 100pts.wt. polyphenylene ether with 0.05-10pts.wt. at least either of an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid and its derivative, a polyamide (B), a composite rubber graft copolymer (C) formed by graft-polymerizing at least one vinyl monomer with a composite rubber of an inseparable structure formed by intertwining 10-90wt.% polyorganosil oxane rubber component with 90-10wt.% polyalkyl (meth)acrylate rubber compo nent and a modified ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer (D) formed by modifying 100pts. wt. ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer with 0.05-10pts.wt. at least either of an alpha,beta-un saturated carboxylic acid and its derivative.
