Abstract
PURPOSE:To extend operation life of a capacitor through reduction of change by ageing of tan delta and leakage current by adding hypophosphite or saline thereof to ethylene grycol and buthyloctanedioic acid or the saline thereof. CONSTITUTION:Hypophosphite or saline thereof is added with a grycol such as ethylenegrycol used as the solvent and buthyloctanedioic acid or saline thereof used as the solute. Quantity of hypophophite or saline thereof is set to 0.1-5 wt.%. With such constitution, the ionized hypophosphite works to the electrolyte and thereby conductivity of electrolyte increases. Therefore, formation ability of electrolyte increases, sufficiently repairing cutout part of electrode foil and detective part of oxide film and thereby tan delta and leakage current may be reduced for a longe period of time. In addition, since the hypophosphite ion suppresses reaction between oxide film and water, increase of tan delta and leakage current can be suppressed and operation life of capacitor can be extended.
