Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent developer from scattering outside and to eliminate the stain in a device main body or of a transfer body by winding 1st and 2nd sheets enclosing developer contacting and adhering to a developing unit. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 15 as an image carrier, a developing device employing a developer containing two constituents, a transfer device, etc., are arranged in the device main body of a laser printer 1 as an image forming device. The drum 15 is coated with a protective sheet 52 which is composed of the drum side sheet (1st sheet) 52a and the toner attachment preventing film (2nd sheet) 52b. With the protective sheet 52 as a winding means, the sheet is wound onto a winding shaft 53. At that time, the developer attaching to the toner attachment preventing film 52b is enclosed with the drum side sheet 52a and wound onto the winding shaft 53. The developer comes not to scatter outside, and the stain in the device or of transfer sheets can be prevented.
