Abstract

PURPOSE:To reform the electrolyte reducing property by including at least one selected from a group of specific organic compounds in a battery. CONSTITUTION:At least one selected from a group of organic compounds including a phenol radical, an aromatic carbonyl radical, an aromatic carboxyl radical, alpha, beta-unsaturated aliphatic alcohol radial, alpha, beta-unsaturated aliphatic carbonyl radial, and alpha, beta-unsaturated aliphatic carboxyl radial is positioned in the battery system of a hybrid battery. As a result, a decrease of the hydrogen overvoltage resulting from the deposition of antimony at the negative electrode is prevented. In such a composition, the electrolyte reducing property of a hybrid battery can be reformed.
