Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure stable air conditioning operation without interrupting an engine by mounting a temperature detection element at a predetermined position on an engine wall surface, and opening/closing a bypass valve provided between a discharge pipe part of a compressor and an air intake portion of the same with the aid of a bypass valve control circuit. CONSTITUTION: On a refrigerant circuit side, a four-way valve 3 is switched in any selected direction of cooling and heating, and provided a temperature signal of a temperature detection device 25 is less than a reference value set in a bypass valve control circuit 26, a bypass valve 27 is opened. A refrigerant discharged from a compressor 2 passes through the bypass valve 27, and flows into an air intake tube of the compressor 2. Further, a freezing cycle is not formed with desired torque of an engine 1 being very small. As sealed gas is heated without interruption of line engine, an output is increased. When cylinder wall temperature reaches the reference value, the bypass valve 27 is closed with the aid of the bypass valve control circuit 26 so that the refrigerant starts to flow to each heat exchanger 4, 6 to start heating/cooling operation.
