Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable young fishes to take readily and efficiently growth hormone of fishes, by making feed organisms take a growth hormone of fishes or adsorbing the growth hormone on the feed organisms and feeding the feed organisms to the young fishes. CONSTITUTION:<=10wt.%, preferably 0.001-1wt.% microorganisms such as yeast, Escherichia coli or Bacillus subtilis capable of producing growth hormone of fishes or the growth hormone of fishes extracted from pituitary of fishes are dissolved in sea water and feed organisms such as rotifes, artemia or chigriops is cultivated in the sea water to make the feed organisms take the growth hormone of fishes or to adsorb the growth hormone on the feed organisms. Then the feed organisms having taken the growth hormone of fishes and the feed organisms on which the growth hormone of fishes is adsorbed are fed to young fishes by a conventional procedure.
