Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a recording body with superior recording run performance and excellent writing property by adding silicone resin fine powder to an overcoat layer and thereby eliminating a sticking phenomenon to a recording head even in high speed recording operation. CONSTITUTION:Silicone resin fine powder is obtained by dehydrating and condensing silanol compound produced through moisture dispersion of polyfunctional organochlorosilane, polyfunctional alkylalkoxysilane, and then removing water to make it into powder. It has a reticulate structure of siloxane bond extending three-dimensionally. In addition, silicone resin is formed in the form of microparticles, preferably it is about 0.05-15mum in grain diameter. Further, the simple dispersion silicone resin powder is preferable because of its easy dispersion into electron curable resin. The resin powder with uniform grain diameter is suited in the point of running performance. When the addition amount of silicone resin fine powder is small, improvement effect of the running performance and writing property will be insufficient. When the said amount is large, the recording image density is lowered and also a recording body with superior glossiness cannot be obtained.
