Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily bring a synthetic resin pipe into to a predetermined position by applying a hardenable material around the peripheral surface of the synthetic resin pipe with a predetermined stiffness, and placing the pipe into the predetermined position before the reinforcing material hardens. CONSTITUTION: In order to wind tape 5 coated or impregnated with a hardenable material around the wall of pipe 4 from drum 2, tape 5 is guided through vessel 6 which contains liquid reinforcing material 7 so as to be coated or impregnated with the hardenable material, and then guided via rollers 8, 9 to wind on the peripheral face of the pipe. The carrier tape is drawn automatically by pipe 4 rotating in the direction shown by the arrow about the vertical axis and is placed around the surface of the pipe. Subsequently, the pipe comprising the reinforcing material is placed into a predetermined position, and then the reinforcing material is hardened so as to increase the inherent stiffness of the pipe.
