Abstract
PURPOSE:To interrupt and restore the communication of external equipment in a conference talk without intermitting a conference by connecting a conference speaking line to a two-wire/four-wire converting circuit and also connecting the two-wire/ four-wire converting circuit to a communication line when the external equipment acquires or releases the line. CONSTITUTION:When the external equipment 11 is used, a hook switch 111 in the external equipment 11 is turned on and then a current flows from the communication line to the external equipment 11 and a current detecting circuit 21 detects the current to inform a conference talk switching control part 6 that the external equipment 11 is placed in a use state; and changeover switches 3 and 4 are placed on side 3b and 4b and a changeover switch 5 is turned on. Consequently, the conference talk is performed by a communication line 1 and external equipment communication is made by a communication line 2. Further, when the external equipment communication is finished, the hook switch 111 is turned off and then a conference talk switching control part 6 is informed by the current detecting circuit 21 that the external equipment 11 finishes the communication; and the changeover switches 3 and 4 are placed on sides 3a and 4a and the changeover switch 5 is turned off to restart a conference talk by two lines.
