Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a broad-band filter and further to realize a steep attenua tion characteristic, as well by constituting a polarized type SAW (surface acous tic wave) resonator filter with which jumping coupling can be made in such a way that SAW resonators are connected in parallel with each other and electrodes are two-dimensionally arranged. CONSTITUTION:Electric signals impressed from electric signal inputting terminals 11 and 12 are converted into surface waves by means of the interdigital transduc er IDT of a surface acoustic wave (SAW) resonator 16. SAW resonators 17 and 18 respectively operate as double mode resonators together with the other and the resonators 16-18 operate as multiplex mode filters, namely, as monolith ic crystal filters (MCF) in such a way that couplings K12, K23, and K13 are respectively produced between the resonators 16 and 17, resonators 17 and 18, and resonators 16 and 18. At frequencies, at which phases of the signal to a route 1 and signal to another route 2 offset each other, an attenuation pole is produced in a limited frequency.
