Abstract
PURPOSE:To generate an output current having a positive temperature characteristic by applying the potential of the mutual connecting point of the driven current side of a first current mirror circuit, and the reference current side of a second mirror circuit to the gate of an electric field effect transistor, and taking out the driven current of a second mirror circuit as an output current. CONSTITUTION:The mutual connecting point potential of the driven side transistor 11d of the mirror circuit 11 and the reference side transistor 20r of the first current mirror circuit 20 is supplied to the gate of the electric field effect transistor 2 and a constant current from the driven side transistor 20d of the second mirror circuit is led out as the output current Ic. A forward voltage as the diode of the reference side transistor has a negative temperature characteristic. The forward voltage of the driven side transistor of the first current mirror circuit has also the negative temperature characteristic. The reference current Ir 1 increases more than an increased part based on the natural temperature coefficient of the reference side transistor to compensate the negative temperature coefficient of a light emitting diode.
