PURPOSE: To provide a filthy-water treating apparatus, in which rotation of a water wheel is caused together with supply of air, and circulation of filthy water and rotation of the water wheel are caused in opposite directions to each other, whereby staying time of air in the filthy water can be prolonged so that oxygen can be supplied enough into the filthy water.
