Abstract

PURPOSE: To make harmless dithionate ion by converting it to sulfate radical without requiring neutralizing chemicals, by performing anodic oxidation to the waste fluid c ontaining dithionic acid discharged from the desulfurization equpment with the lime-gypsum process by using graphite anode in the electrolytic cell partitioned by anion exchange membrane.
