Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a method of electrical discharge machining, in which discharge electrode is moved away from workpiece when a certain step of electrical discharge machining is finished, and extent of consumption of the electrode is detected, whereby the motion of ram is compensated and controlled in accordance with the above extent of electrode consumption.
