倒して収容する横方向に凹状に延びた第1の収容部10

する凹状の第2の収容部12と電動工具9の電池パック
13を立てて収容する凹状の第3の収容部14とがトラ
ンス4と充電制御用電子回路5と蓄電池装着部6の配列
方向に対し直交する方向に一列に配設されており、蓄電
池装着部〆旨向して第3の収容部14が形成されるとと
もにトランス4に対向して複数本の通気孔15が形成さ
れている。このように電動工具9を倒して第1の収容部
10に収容したものは電動工具9を立てたものに比し安
定しており倒れにくいという効果がある。第3の収容部
14から第1の収容部10に向うに従って上ケーシング
2の外面が下り勾配になるよう下ケーシング3の底面は
中央部で折り曲がった断面へ字形に形成されている。こ
のようにしたものは上ケーシング2の第1・第2・第3
収容室から電動工具9や付属品11や電池パック13を
取り外しやすいという効果がある。電池パック13は合
成樹脂材でできたケース16と、該ケース16内に収容
された蓄電池(図示せず)と、該蓄電池に接続された一
対の端子17とで構成されており、蓄電池装着部6に装
着することにより端子I7は接触金具8に接続される。
