Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable safely control of the temperature of an electric space heater by a method wherein temperature sensors are arranged in a main body and the connection to an external heating means is controlled. CONSTITUTION:A KOTATU (foot warmer) underlay 9 is lain under an electric KOTATU 1 and the convenience outlet part 10 of the KOTATU underlay 9 is set between the cord 11 of the electric KOTATU 1 and the electric KOTATU 1. Due to the structure as mentioned above, if the surface temperature of an electric carpet 8 rises abnormally, temperature sensors 12 act to stop the current flowing through a power plug 2 to the electric KOTATU 1. In such a manner as mentioned above, the comfortable, safe and sure temperature control of the electric KOTATU is made possible.
