Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an output voltage of any waveform with a smooth change in the magnetic flux by bending the circumferential surface of a magnetic pole piece to be concentric with a rotating shaft. CONSTITUTION:The circumferential surface of a magnetic pole piece 8 is so formed as to be broad W1 rotation-wise at the center of the axial direction l and narrow W2 at both end parts thereof while making a curved surface concentric with a rotating shaft. This reduces the level of the magnetic flux on the circumferential surface of the magnetic pole piece 8 at both axial edges of the rotation-wise end rim and hence, the level of the magnetic flux decreases on both rotation-wise sides of the magnetic pole piece 8. Thus, if the degree of changes in the width of the magnetic pole piece 8 is set to provide the desired waveform of the output voltage, a good waveform of the output voltage can be obtained even with an equal length of clearance between the stator core 6 and the magnetic pole piece 8.
