Abstract
PURPOSE:To satisfy the characteristics as a switching power source and to facilitate fabrication by inserting a flat magnet in a part of a gap at a side leg of a single magnetic core and providing a gap whose thickness is shorter than that of the flat magnet at the other side leg. CONSTITUTION:A closed magnetic path is constituted by facing an I core 1 and an E core 2 of a ferrite core. The magnetic core gap is provided at the facing part between the one side leg 3 of the E core 2 and the I core 1, and a thin plate 5 of a permanent magnet is inserted. The magnetic gap, whose thickness is shorter than that of the magnet inserting gap, is provided at the facing part between the other side leg 4 of the E core 2 and the I core 1. A coil 7 is provided at the central leg. When a DC is flowed in said coil 7, a magnetic flux flows in the side leg 4 having a small magnetic resistance. When the leg 4 is saturated, magnetic flux also flows in the side leg 3, and a constant inductance value is kept until the leg 3 is saturated.
