Abstract
PURPOSE: To strengthen the reinforcing effect on a pair of upper and lower cases constituting a tank body and prevent the waving thereof by connecting said both cases with each other by a reinforcing plate.
CONSTITUTION: In a state that a pair of upper and lower cases 1, 1 are separated beforehand, a bent flange 5 located at the upper portion of a reinforcing plate 4 is superposed thereon in one of the cases, i.e. the upper one 1 and is also fixed there by a spot welding 6. Then, after closing the cases 1, 1, a pair of flanges 2, 2, are integrally connected with each other by a seam welding 7. Thereafter, the lower case 1 and a bent flange 5 located at the lower portion of the reinforcing plate 4 are connected with each other by a MIG welding type spot welding 8 which is applied from the outer surface.
