Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled composition capable of releasing easily a packing tightly baked to the cylinder block an engine, comprising methylene chloride, an alcohol compatible with it, paraffin wax having a specific melting point, etc. in a specified ratio.
CONSTITUTION: 50wt% or more methylene chloride is blended with 10W30wt% alcohol (preferably methanol, ethanol, etc.) compatible with it, 0.5W5wt% paraffin wax having a melting point ≤135°F, and 0.1W2wt% methyl cellulose (preferably hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose), to give the desired composition. The composition is preferably used with paraffin wax having a melting point ≤120°F and a higher fatty acid. 1W20wt% water is added to the release agent, the agent is blended with 20W50wt% dimethyl ether, and fed to a spray container, from which the release agent is preferably sprayed.
EFFECT: Having a proper viscosity, neither flowing from the applied part nor sagging from it.
