Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance the sinterability and slidability by adding a prescribed amount of Mg, Si, Ni, Cu and graphite to Al.
CONSTITUTION: The titled material is obtd. by adding 0.2W2.5% Mg, 15W35% Si, 1W5% Cu and 0.5W3% Ni to Al or further adding 3W15% graphite. Mg facilitates sintering, and Si, Ni, Cu and graphite enhance the slidability. This material is suitable for sintering and is especially utilized as a bearing material after sintering.
