Abstract
PURPOSE: To manufacture a machine for correctly cutting or removing beads on the inner surface of a pipe, by arranging a supporting mechanism having an extendable pole at each of the front and the rear of a bogie insertable into a pipe and providing cutters and positioning rollers on a rotary disk driven by a motor mounted on the bogie.
CONSTITUTION: At the front and the rear of a bogie 2 insertable into a synthetic resin made pipe 1, supporting mechanisms 3a, 3b provided with extendable poles 4 of more than three at the regular interval and radially are formed. On a rotary disk 8 driven by a motor 5 mounted on the bogie 2, a support member 9 movable radially is attached and a blade 10 and a positioning roller 11 are provided at the end of the member 9. The whole mechanism is entered into a pipe with the poles 4 contracted, and the poles are extended at a position of the beads to contact with an end shoe 21 with the pipe inner face and to apply the blade 10 at the center of the bead. Then beads are removed by driving the motor 5.
