Abstract

PURPOSE:To make safe the service system, by separating a known data into two, and storing one to a computer system and another to a magnetic card. CONSTITUTION:An individual data is separated into two and stored to a common storage means 2 and an individual card 4. In the discrimination, the user sets the card 4 of itself to a reader and inputs the pass-word of itself from a keyboard 6. A host computer 1 picks up a part of corresponding known data from a file device 2. This picked up data is synthesized at a terminal device 3 with the stored data on the card. Based on the synthesized data, the terminal device 3 interprets it with the inputted pass-word, and inquiries are displayed on a display device 7 and the input of reply is urged.
