Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the conversion characteristics and to prevent the production of asymmetrical oscillation without losing rigidity against bending, by forming the vibration diaphragm core with foamed member of light metal such as aluminum and giving nonuniform thickness distribution by taking symmetrical as axial center. CONSTITUTION:The skins of aluminum foil 15, 16 are adhered on upper and lower both surfaces of a core 14 consisting of foamed aluminum or foamed synthetic resin of a vibration diaphragm 15. The circular diaphragm 15 is made symmetrical to the center axis and ununiform thickness, and a ring shape most thick part 17 having maximum thickness is formed. An edge 18 fitted to the frame 11 is fitted to this diaphragm 15, and a transfer cone 18, a magnetic dircuit 12 and the edge 18 are provided. The production of asymmetrical oscillation is prevented without losing the rigidity against bending, allowing to increase the electro-acoustic characteristics.
