Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent magnetic characteristics and mechanical strength from deterioration, by a method wherein a die-casting process is performed with an outer cylinder which fills a permanent magnet containing groove and an end-ring die, and then a permanent magnet is adhered and fixed in the permanent magnet containing groove by adhesive. CONSTITUTION:Steel plates 2 each having a permanent magnet containing groove 1 and a starter coil containing groove 5 are laminated to compose a rotor core and then die-casting process is performed with an outer cylinder 10 with a protruded portion which has such a shape that it fills the permanent magnet containing groove 1 and with end-ring dies 7a, 7b. Melt is poured from a gate 9 and forms a gate- side end-ring 6a, then reaches an opposite gate side and forms an opposite-gate-side end-ring 6b by an opposite-gate-side end-ring die 7b. After the die-casting process, a permanent magnet 4 is fixed in the permanent magnet containing groove with adhesive. With the above method, as the die-casting process is performed before adhesion, magnetic characteristics and mechanical strength are prevented from deterioration by the effect of heat.
