Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the ignition timing to be optimum even when the atmospheric pressure has changed or a detection error of a sensor has occurred, by detecting the driving conditions of an engine, and controlling the ignition timing according to the driving conditions and the correction value for the air to fuel ratio. CONSTITUTION:A controlling circuit 16 includes an A/D converter 30, a central processing unit CPU40, a read-on memory ROM46, a random access memory RAM 48, a clock generating circuit, a path 52, etc. The controlling circuit 16 is connected to an O2 sensor 20, an air flow sensor 10 or a negative pressure sensor 12, a rotation angle sensor 28, a fuel jet valve sensor 14, and an ignition apparatus 44, and computes and controls the ignition timing based on the operation conditions of the engine and the correction value of the theoretical air to fuel ratio.
