Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a simultaneous feeding of fluid to an accumulation unit and discharging of fluid from the accumulation unit by a method wherein an upstream pressure in the feeding passage and a pressure in the discharge passage are guided to a port at a rear side of the valve in the feeding passage.
CONSTITUTION: A secondary passage 3 to the feeding passage 1 in the main body A of the control mechanism is connected to the feeding pipe of the accumulation unit B such as a solar energy water heater, and a primary passage 2 is connected to the feeding pipe 4. Both passages 2, 3 are shut off by a partition wall 6 so as to have parallel openings 8, 8' downward thereof. The openings 8, 8' are closed by the valve 9 which may be extended or retracted, deformed and biased by a spring 10. A port 7 is formed at the rear part of the valve 9. A discharge passage 11 in the main body A is connected to the discharge pipe extended from the accumulation unit B and further connected to the discharge pipe 14 having a discharge valve 15. Both port 7 and the primary passage 2 are communicated with each other by the pilot passage 16, and then the port 7 is communicated with the downstream of the check valve 12 in the discharge passage 11 by a pilot passage 17 having a larger diameter than the pilot passage 16.
