Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a system capable of heating a living room in a simple and economical manner, by laying a heat pipe under the floor of a living room, extending the sections of the heat pipe to be heated to surface capable of receiving solar rays at a proper angle in winter, and heating said sections of the heat pipe by the solar heat.
CONSTITUTION: A heat pipe 3 with water charged therein is laid under the floor 2 of a living room 1 of a house. The heat pipe 3 is, for instance, made of a single pipe and zigzagged in the manner that its straight runs extend side by side in parallel to each other. Parts 3a of the heat pipe 3, located at one side thereof, are projected to the outside of the living room 1, so that they extend in a surface capable of receiving solar rays at a proper angle in winter. The heat collecting surface is covered with a black absorbing plate 6 or the like. Further, the heat pipe 3 is covered with a heat insulating material 4, for instance, at its lower surface and fixed in place by means of brackets 5. By thus absorbing solar heat at the parts 3a of the heat pipe 3 and raising the temperature of water in heat pipe 3 by conduction of heat, it is enabled to heat the floor 2 and hence the living room 1 through the floor 2.
