Abstract

PURPOSE: To synchronize between signal transmission/reception devices with one signal line, by transmitting the status signal of the next period of a signal generator serially from a signal generator and outputting the status signal of the preceding period when a timing signal from the signal generator is received by a signal receiver.
CONSTITUTION: When a status 6 of a signal generator 1 is as shown in (a), the device 1 gives a status signal 7 at the next period as shown in (b) to a parallel/serial converter 3 and produces a timing signal 8' indicating the change of the status as shown in (d). On the other hand, a reception signal 9 reaching a serial/parallel converter 4 with transmission is as shown in (e) to cause a transmission delay 8 as shown in (c). When the timing signal 8' is received, the transfer of a reception signal 9 from a storage circuit to a signal receiver is shown as a signal 10 in (f), and this is in coincidence with the status signal 6 of the signal generator 1 in timing.
