Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce foamed decorative material with remarkable roughness by following method in which a printing image is painted on a base material with synthetic resins containing three kinds of foaming agents having different foam-decomposition temperatures respectively and is caused to foam by heating. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin layer 2 containing first foaming agent is formed on a base material 1. On said layer, a synthetic resin layer 3 containing second foaming agent with lower decomposition temperature than that of the first foaming agent is painted as a printing image. After they are dried and gelled, further they are coated with synthetic resin containing the third foaming agent having higher decomposition temperature than that of the second foaming agent, and are dried and gelled. Next, these layers are caused to foam by heating. On account of the difference between their decomposition temperature, the synthetic resin layer 3 containing the second foaming agent foams under the condition where the first and third layers 2 and 4 keep tightness yet, and coarse cells are generated from fine cells. At this state, the third layer 4 and the first layer 2 begin to foam gradually, and the coarse cells form cavity like cores 5.
