Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the number of fuses by connecting the input terminal of a stand-by decoder to the input of a normal selecting means, and using a logical NOR circuit whose output terminal is connected to the input of a stand-by selecting means. CONSTITUTION:A stand-by decoder 13 is composed of a logical NOR circuit which has repective input terminals connected to normal word lines 4a-4d and an output terminal connected to the input of a stand-by memory cell 9. A control signal 14 serves to hold the output of the stand-by decoder 13 at a level L upon occasion even when normal memory cell lines 6a, 6c and 6d are not selected, and is obtained from address signals other than chip selection control signals Aphi and Al. Address inputs, and normal memory cell lines 6a, 6c, and 5d, and a stand-by memory cell line 9 have one-to-one correspondence relation.
