Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure the pre-pressure in a stable method by the titled apparatus suitable for a head drum mechanism of a VTR or the like, wherein a spring is interposed between bearings to secure a pre-pressure, and thereafter one of the bearings is fixed with a fixing agent to obtain the pre-pressure in position. CONSTITUTION:First, a bearing 22 is forced from a direction shown at an arrowIinto one end of a bearing house 24, and then a rotating shaft 21 is forced from a direction shown at an arrow II into an inner race of the bearing 22. Then the pre-pressurizing spring 25 is inserted from the direction of the arrow II, and a bearing 23 is pressed in from the direction of the arrow II so that the pre-pressurizing spring is automatically energized to have a pre-pressure. Thereafter a fixing agent is injected through an aperture 26 to fix the bearing 23 and to obtain a pre-pressure in position. Thus, without regard to low temperatures, ambient conditions, etc., a prescribed pre-pressure can be obtained at all times, and further the precision of rotation of the shaft can be improved.
