Abstract
PURPOSE:To make resolving power uniform by disposing a condenser lens before a scanning mirror and an optical fiber array and a ''Selfoc '' lens array behind the same and aligning the end face of the optical fiber array opposite to the scanning mirror to the condensing face of the condenser lens. CONSTITUTION:The beam reflected downward by a rotary polyhedral mirror 6 is made incident to the end face 8 of an optical fiber array 7. This end face 8 is of such a curved shape that the optical paths from the lens 4 of the light beams deflected by the mirror 6 are made roughly equal. Namely, the end face 8 is in alignment to the condensing face of the lens 4, and therefore the light beams deflected by the mirror 6 are condensed respectively in the respective positions of the end face 8. It is possible to improve the resolving power by making the diameter of the incident end faces of the optical fibers larger and their exit faces smaller. A ''Selfoc '' lens array 12 forms the image of the luminescence spot of the end face 11 of the array 7.
