Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize an original control system which can expose plural sheets of original with high efficiency, by feeding the original to be copied next into the original inserting path and keeping it in waiting at a prescribed position. CONSTITUTION:The preceding original is fed into an original exposure circulating path 19, and the rear end of the original is detected by a sensor 23. Thus a gate solenoid 27 is demagnetized to close a positioning gate 22, and at the same time the next original can be fed through an original inserting port 21A. After this, the original which is being transported on an original inserting path 21 is confirmed by the sensor 23. Furthermore the tip part of the original is detected by a sensor 29 provided near the rear end of the path 21, and the state of the original before reaching a junction point 31 is checked. As a result, the nest original arrived at the point 31 is stopped and kept waiting there according to the unexposure of the preceding original on the path 19, the double setting of plural originals, the change of the contraction factor, etc. Accordingly the exposure is restarted for the next original without feeding a new original. Thus plural shets of original can be exposed with high efficiency.
