Abstract
PURPOSE: To produce economically the titled adhesive film (or sheet), by coating a length of nonwoven fabric with a binder containing a fine metal powder for corrosion prevention, nullifying the adhesiveness of one surface thereof, and painting (or printing) said one surface.
CONSTITUTION: A binder (adhesive) excellent in weather and water resistances is mixed with a fine metal powder (e.g. stainless steal, red lead, barium chromate, etc.) for corrosion prevention, and both the surfaces of a length of air- permeable nonwoven fabric are coated with the resulting composition to be impregnated. After one surface of said fabric is protected by a separator, the other surface is coated with a corrosion preventive fine metal powder so that the adhesiveness of the other surface is nullified, and then said other surface is printed with a phthalate paint (ink), a vinyl chloride paint (ink) or the like to have desired letters and/or figures. The adhesive sheet for coloring and corrosion prevention obtined by the above method is very flexible, and can be attached firmly to a surface even if it is uneven.
