Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the inspection accuracy of the missing leaf by printing the month at the margin and detecting through a photoelectric tube. CONSTITUTION:It is comprised of means for detecting the marks printed on a calender 5 in accordance to the content and converting into an electrical signal, a signal processing means 9, means for logically discriminating the processed signal and means for indicating said result. In other word four areas 1-4 for inserting the mark are arranged with interval at the margin of a calender 5, then the month is converted into the four bit binary number where each bit will corresponds with one area and the bit ''1'' is marked with the ink simultaneously with the pattern printing. Consequently the inspection of the missing leaf of the calender can be performed automatically at the printing of the shop name resulting in the improvement of the inspection accuracy and the speed.
