Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the titled adhesive capable of forming a polyolefin/metal laminate having excellent resistance to salt water, particularly resistance to cathod peeling, by blending an epoxy resin, aluminum oxide powder and an amine hardener in a specified ratio.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. epoxy resin (A) such as a liquid bisphenol A type epoxy resin having an MW of 300W500, 5W100pts.wt. aluminum oxide powder (B) having a particle size of 0.1W50μ and an amine hardener (C) in an amount of 0.8W1.2 of amino active hydrogen per mol of epoxy group of component A, such as an addition reaction product of an aliph. amine with a monoepoxy compd., are blended together to produce a laminating adhesive. This adhesive is coated in a thickness of 10W100μ on the surface of a metal, and cured by heating to form a resin film having a network structure. A modified polyolefin is welded onto the resin film by heating to form a polyolefin/metal laminate.
