PURPOSE:To attain the highly precise positioning between a light emitting element and an optical fiber in a simple way, by fixing an electrode terminal with a tool and setting the tip of an optical fiber fixed directly to the light emitting element fixed directly to the electrode terminal to a certain position of the above-mentioned tool. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element 3c fixed to an electrode terminal 3b and the root part of the terminal 3b are molded by the resin, and the electrode 3b is held into a hole 6a of a tool 6. The tip of an optical fiber 1 is put through the center of a cylindrical holder 2 having a bottom and fixed there, and the opening part of the fiber 1 is positioned at the tool 6. Then the holder 2 and the resin molded part 3a of a light emitting matter 3 are fixed with an adhesive. In such way, both the light emitting element and optical fiber are positioned in a simple and highly precise way.
