Abstract

PURPOSE:The titled remedial preparation that contains vitamin E nicotinic ester as an active ingredient to increase the blood stream in gingivae, thus relieving symptoms in gingivae such as rubor, swelling, hemorrhage or drainage. CONSTITUTION:Viamin E nicotinic ester is used as an active ingredient and prepared into a paste, tooth paste, tooth powder or liquid so that the dose every administration becomes 0.1-150mg. periodontosis is a general name of disease in parodontium such as gingivae, periodontal membranes or alveolar bones and one of its mechanisms is a kind of peripheral circulation failure. Therefore, the increase in bloodstreams is an effective measure for preventing and treating the disease. The results of animal tests showed that vitamin E nicotinic ester increases the blood flow in gingivae and the symptoms in patients with periodontosis such as rubor, swelling, hemorrhage and drainage in gingivae were significantly improved.
