Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an uniform spectro-characteristic flash and decrease the man-hour of the production for a flashing discharge tube, by forming a trigger electrode with a transparent conductive film and further forming a light transmissible dielectric film on said transparent conductive film. CONSTITUTION:A transparent conductive film, for example, an In2O3 film in thickness of about 0.1mum is formed as a trigger electrode 34 on the pair of electrode 31, 32 and a tube glass 33. A light transmissible dielectric film 35, for example, a SiO2 film is formed in thickness of 0.08mum on the trigger electrode 34 except one part (a) where a drawer type electrode is further provided.
