Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform long-lived sealing without reacting with an electrolyte and leaking of the electrolyte, by using an epoxy adhesive consisting of a curing agent containing aromatic amine for the sealing agent round both substrates of ECD elements. CONSTITUTION:The upper and lower substrates 1, 8 of ECD elements are sealed thereabout with an epoxy adhesive 7 consisting of a curing agent containing aromatic amine like diaminodiphenylmethan, etc. It is possible to seal at about 150 deg.C of a comparatively low temp., and to obtain a seal 7 low in moisture/gas permeability and high in adhesive force, without deterioration of an electrolyte as well as leakage of the electrolyte.
