Abstract

PURPOSE:To take measurements simultaneously in a short time by one sample by adding a sample solution to one system obtained by combining antibodies, corresponding to substances to be measured, with an equal number of separately measurable solid phases, by making them react, and then by treating the solid phases respectively. CONSTITUTION:One kind of antibody among substances to be measured is fixed on the internal surface of a test tube (solid phase I), another kind of antibody on a plastic film (solid phase II), and one more kind of antibody on a granular body (solid phase III). Thus, antibodies corresponding to the substances to be measured are fixed to three kinds of easily separated solid phase as one system in the test tube (solid phase I). A sample solution is added into the test tube and made to react, and then respective solid phases are separated and treated as required, thereby measuring radioactivity, enzyme activity, fluorescence, etc. Thus, various substances to be measured are measured by a small amount of a sample.
