Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a blow-molded container of which an opening end part has a monolayer construction and the other part has a multilayer construction consisting of three or more layers by a method wherein two kinds of molten resins are continuously and alternately injected into a single mold at different timings. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin 4 is injected from a cylinder 3 of one injection molding machine, and at a slightly delayed timing another thermoplastic resin 5 is injected from a cylinder 3' of another injection molding machine. As a result, the resin 5 flows without mixing with a uncured part (namely, an intermediate layer part) of the preceding resin 4, resulting in that a multilayer molded article is obtained in which inside and outside surface layers consist of the resin 4 precedingly injected while an intermediate layer consists of the resin 5 subsequently injected. The multilayer molded article is blown up by an ordinary biaxial stretching blow molding machine to obtain a biaxially oriented hollow container 18.
