Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a highly sensitive receptor having flat sensitivity all over the visible region by forming a charge generating layer contg. a specified disazo pigment and a charge transferring layer contg. a specified hydrazone compound on an electrically conductive support. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed amount of a disazo pigment represented by formulaIand a prescribed amount of a binder resin are dissolved in THF. A prescribed amount of hydrazone represented by formula II (where R is H, 1-3C alkyl, alkoxy, dialkylamino, halogen, nitro or OH, and (n) is an integer of 1-5) and a prescribed amount of a binder resin are dissolved in THF separately from the pigment, etc. The former soln. contg. the pigment of formulaIis applied to an electrically conductive support 11 of Al or the like to form a charge generating layer 22 having 0.01-5mum thickness, and the latter soln. contg. the hydrazone of formula II is applied to the layer 22 to form a charge transferring layer 33 having 2-100mum thickness. Thus, an electrophotographic receptor is obtd.
