Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve cooling efficiency by providing a pad member with a lubricating oil path for conducting lubricating oil from a lubricating oil feed path of a bearing body directly to the inner peripheral surface of the pad member.
CONSTITUTION: Lubricating oil, which has been fed to each lubricating oil feed path 13 from the outside, passes through a lubricating oil path 11 of a pad member 3 with it cooled to be compulsorily supplied to a bearing portion between the inner peripheral surface 6 of the pad member 3 and the outer peripheral surface of a shaft 7. The lubricating oil used in the bearing passes through an exhaust path 10 to be exhausted outside, not being mixed with the lubricating oil supplied to the inside.
