Abstract

PURPOSE:To readily get on or off a car by constituting a seat cushion in such a manner that it can be turned in a parallel direction. CONSTITUTION:With a connection hook 27 caught by a connection recess 29 of a circle channel 13, a turning part 12 is kept stationary with respect to a round guide 11. When a lever 25 is turned against a force of a compressed coil spring 28 to release the connection hook 27 from the connection recess 29, the turning part 12 is permitted to be turned so that a seat can be turned in a required direction. If a passenger turns the seat approximately at right angles to a position faced to a door for getting on or off a car, for example, the connection hook 27 is caught by a connection recess 29b of the circle channel 13 and locked at the turning position. The recess 29b stands approximately at right angles to the recess 29a with respect to a center point. Thereafter a passenger can get on or off the car.
