Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject decorated plate having harmony between the embossment and the pattern by a method wherein the side of a decorated sheet having convexes on its surface and is to be printed is heat pressed, while being covered with a rubber sheet with a thickness of 2mm and above, and the decorated sheet and a substrate are fastened each other with an adhesive.
CONSTITUTION: A printing 2 with raised parts being processed by a serigraph is applied on the surface of the decorated sheet 1 of a plate or a cloth being fabricated using a printing composition wherein filling materials and aggregates are blended using thermosetting plastics such as phenol and melamine as a vehicle. Then, said raised printed surface 2 side is covered with a rubber sheet 3 with thickness of 2mm and above, the decorated sheet 1 and the substrate 5 whereon an adhesive 4 is coated are heat pressed by a pair of press 11 fastening the sheet 1 and the substrate 5 each other, and an unsaturated polyester resin liquid 8 is coated on the sheet 1. At the same time, the resin layer 8a is covered by the rubber sheet 3 to harden the resin layer 8a to obtain the required polyester decorated plate A.
