Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the vibration from leaking to the outside, by setting the dimensions of the second holding frame provided on the quartz oscillating piece equipped with the sealing frame, to a resonance or antiresonance state. CONSTITUTION:The quartz oscillating piece 23 equipped with the sealing frame is composed of the tuning fork type oscillating pieces 25, 26, the sealing frame 24, and the second holding frames 28, 29. And, width, length and thickness of the holding frames 28, 29 are selected properly so that they become a resonance or antiresonance state against the oscillation frequency. That is to say, the holding frames 28, 29 are made such a vibrating distribution state as they become a node of oscillation in the part of the connection part 27 and become an antinode of oscillation in the part of the connection part 30. Moreover, oscillation is made such a state as it becomes a node in the part of the connection parts 27, 30. In this way, oscillation never leaks to the sealing frame 24. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the oscillation from leaking to the outside.
