Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain titled laminated sheet which is excellent in heat resistance, etc., and is useful bonding IC, LSI, etc., by pretreating, in laminate-molding a film with a copper foil, the film or the copper foil with a cyanate ester type resin, and then performing the laminate molding.
CONSTITUTION: Titled laminated sheet is obtained by coating or impregnating (A) a film or sheet, m.p. ≥150°C, such as a polyimide film or (B) a copper foil with a cyanate ester type resin, drying the film or sheet incompletely, thereafter laminating said film or sheet (A) with said copper foil (B), heating the laminate under pressure and, optionally, after-drying the laminate. As the cyanate ester type resin which can be used, there are preferred a polyfunctional cyanate ester, a prepolymer thereof (with an amine) or a mixture or prereacted product thereof with a polyfunctional maleimide.
EFFECT: It is possible to obtain laminated sheets having excellent moisture resistance, chemical resistance, copper foil adhesion, electrical properties, etc.
