Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase a potential elastic energy of a resin spring by twisting a fiber flux such as glass dipped into a thermosetting resin and coiling a reversely twisted fiber flux around it to make up a spring wire. CONSTITUTION:As a material, many fiber wires 1 such as carbon fibers or glassfibers are used and bound in the form of a sticklike fiber flux 10, while they are flatly arranged in the form of a platelike fiber flux 20. The bount sticklike fiber flux 10 and the platelike fiber flux 20 are dipped into a thermosetting resin solution to absorb it so that they are turned into a resin-contained sticklike fiber flux 11 and a resin-contained platelike fiber 21. The fiber flux 11 is twisted and the fiber 21 is coiled in the opposite direction to the twist around it so that a required spring wire 30 may be formed.
